William D. Ritenour and
his wife, Ida, founded Ritenour Lumber in 1960. They
started with a saw mill then added dry kilns in 1979, and a
moulding shop in 1991. His son, Paul became
president in 1993 after 20 years of service. He and his brothers
operated the business until May 2002 when Paul purchased the
operation. Paul now concentrates on
producing hardwood flooring, tongue-and-groove paneling, casing,
baseboard, log siding, stair treads/railing, and custom mouldings.
He also provides dry kiln services and sells rough-cut lumber. He
added a catalog and showroom in 2003 and offers free sample pieces
of his products. Ritenour Lumber provides products
to homeowners, contractors, and local schools. |
